Our journey continues to Memphis, the first capital of unified Egypt, founded by King Menes around 3100 BC. Once a thriving center of politics, religion, and culture, Memphis still preserves incredible treasures. You’ll admire the colossal statue of Ramses II and the impressive Alabaster Sphinx, while your guide explains the historical significance of this ancient city as the beating heart of the Egyptian civilization.
